Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Semi-Senior to join our dynamic Tax team within a well-established UK accounting practice. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a varied portfolio of clients, including individuals, partnerships, and companies. Key Responsibilities
- Provide an excellent level of service to a portfolio of clients which meets and exceeds their expectations.
- Prepare the tax returns in accordance with Xeinadin's standard procedures.
- Preparation of personal, partnership, and corporate tax returns for a diverse client base.
- Liaising directly with HMRC and clients to handle queries and correspondence.
- Ensure agreed deliverables are within a set timeframe and that the job is completed within budget.
- Ensure self and team members follow all legal and statutory requirements.
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and best practices.
- Represent Xeinadin to the client ensuring that the day to day is delivered ensuring a focus on innovation and the future.
- Represent the firm internally and externally in a professional manner through appearance, conduct and attitude.
Key Requirements
- Studying towards or qualified in ATT / part-qualified CTA / AAT with strong tax exposure.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice, ideally with a focus on tax.
- Good working knowledge of UK tax compliance processes.
Additional Requirements
- Experience in both personal and corporate tax compliance.
- Exposure to tax advisory work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Demonstrates high levels of confidentiality and adheres to professional ethical standards.
