About the Role:



As a Tax Semi-Senior, you will play an essential role in providing tax support to the team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to our clients. You will assist in managing a portfolio of clients, helping them meet their tax obligations while maintaining compliance with tax regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your tax expertise within a collaborative and dynamic environment, while working towards completing your professional qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in preparing and reviewing tax returns for a portfolio of clients, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements. Support senior team members in managing deadlines and overseeing client work to ensure it is completed efficiently and accurately. Maintain and nurture relationships with clients, providing them with advice and updates on tax matters in a clear, professional manner. Assist in managing client expectations, ensuring that deliverables meet their needs and are delivered within the agreed timescales. Support the tax team in the identification and implementation of process improvements to streamline workflows and ensure better service delivery to clients. Represent Xeinadin in a professional manner, delivering excellent service to clients and ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively. Communicate effectively with clients both verbally and in writing, aiming to deliver outstanding customer service and build strong relationships. Ensure all tasks are completed on time, with a focus on technical competence and high-quality work that meets both client expectations and internal standards. Collaborate with senior colleagues to support client deliverables, ensuring all tax returns are prepared in compliance with legal requirements. Work closely with senior team members, assisting in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring that work is delivered according to agreed timelines and budgets. Contribute to a culture of teamwork, sharing knowledge and best practices, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Attend relevant courses and training to maintain technical knowledge and ensure Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements are met. Continuously develop your technical skills in tax, with support from senior colleagues, while assisting junior team members as needed.

Key Requirements:



ATT qualified or part-qualified or actively working towards this qualification (desirable). Previous experience in preparing tax returns and managing a client portfolio is advantageous. At least 2-3 years of experience in tax, preferably within a practice environment

Additional Requirements:



Strong understanding of tax compliance requirements, with practical experience in preparing tax returns. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Dependable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting and tax software. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues. A collaborative and reliable team player who thrives in a supportive environment and is keen to learn and share knowledge. High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently, maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
