Tax Transactions Director - Top 100 Firm
A Top 100 Firm with a proud heritage has recently moved in to their new office in Central London and are significantly growing their Tax Transactions Team to compete with larger firms.

They are seeking a Tax Transactions Director. The team is currently made up of 1 partner and 2 directors and they are looking to add another director as well as a senior manager and an executive assistant to assist the team.

They act for a diverse range of clients who operate in a multitude of sectors both in the UK and Internationally including, but not limited to, property, sports, entertainment, and media.

The Transaction Tax team provide a first-class tax advisory service, across a diverse range of high value tax technical matters to high-net-worth individuals and corporate entities. The growth of the team has created an opportunity for an individual wishing to diversify their experience and accelerate their career.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting both Partners and other Directors as required and instructed
  • Actively building relationships and managing clients
  • Restructuring, including the UK tax implications of the restructure and preparing the necessary clearances to go to HMRC
  • UHNWs. Advising family offices and wealthy family on their affairs across all direct taxes
  • Property structuring. Advising on property structuring, incorporation, and Stamp Duty Land Tax.
  • Undertaking tax due diligence reviews for company purchases
  • Preparation of advisory reports and memos
  • Responding to both clients and colleagues with regards to any ad-hoc tax related queries that they have on a daily basis
  • Researching technical tax issues and explaining findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Keeping up to date on all technical areas of expertise which will include technical research where instructed, review of the budgets and legislative changes and reporting back to other members of staff (firm wide) where appropriate; and
  • Assisting with the preparation of technical and marketing material for both internal and external audiences.
