Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Taxi Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of taxi operations, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining high standards of service. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and dispatch taxis to various locations as per customer requests. Monitor taxi availability and manage driver schedules to optimise service efficiency. Communicate effectively with drivers, providing them with necessary information regarding pickups and traffic conditions. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during operations. Maintain accurate records of taxi movements, including pickups, drop-offs, and any incidents that occur. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Skills

Strong communication skills for effective interaction with drivers and customers alike. Excellent knowledge of the local area, especially Carluke and Lanark Areas. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic settings and possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring smooth taxi operations.

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
