We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving and providing exceptional service to passengers. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting clients to their destinations while maintaining a clean and well-organised vehicle. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate efficiently through various routes.

Duties

Drive passengers to their specified locations in a safe and timely manner. Maintain the vehicle in good condition, ensuring cleanliness and functionality at all times. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance as needed during their journey. Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as assisting passengers with luggage or other items. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger details. Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users. Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate fare records. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any passenger inquiries or concerns professionally. Commited to obtaining a taxi licence 21+ only

Qualifications

Valid UK driver's licence with a clean driving record. Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to lift heavy items when required. Familiarity with local roads and navigation systems is advantageous. A professional appearance and attitude towards customers are essential. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

Pay: 150.00-300.00 per day
