Getaway Travel is seeking reliable, professional PSV/Taxi Drivers to join our team. As a driver with us, you will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, and friendly transportation services to our customers, ensuring a comfortable journey every time. You will cover a range of services, including airport transfers, long-distance travel, local journeys, and special events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely transport passengers to various destinations, including airports, seaports, and local venues.

- Ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs.

- Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers as needed.

- Operate a range of vehicles from our fleet, maintaining cleanliness and care.

- Use the company's telematics and online booking systems to track and manage bookings.

- Comply with all traffic laws, driving regulations, and company policies.

- Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance.

- Communicate with the dispatch team regarding any issues or delays.

Requirements:

- Valid Westmorland and Furness taxi badge or Category D driving licence with CPC and Tachograph (ideally both) We can put the right candidates through this.

- Clean driving record with no recent criminal or driving convictions.

- Excellent knowledge of local roads and routes.

- Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanour.

- Ability to work unsociable hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality service.

- Previous experience in passenger transport is preferred.

- Ability to handle cash and card payments when necessary.
