Lorn Taxis is a trusted local taxi company, proudly serving the community with reliable and friendly transport. We are expanding our team and looking for additional daytime drivers to join us.

As a self-employed driver with Lorn Taxis, you'll provide safe, efficient, and courteous transport to customers during daytime hours. You'll enjoy the flexibility of being your own boss while benefiting from a steady flow of bookings through our established customer base. We will also help you gain a taxi badge from Argyll & Bute council.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport passengers safely and professionally to their destinations. Provide excellent customer service at all times. Maintain cleanliness and good presentation of the vehicle you drive. Manage bookings assigned through our system and respond to local call-outs. Handle cash and card payments accurately where required.
Requirements:

Full, clean UK driving licence (essential). Local area knowledge is an advantage. Good communication and people skills. Ability to work independently and manage your own time. All drivers must hold (or be willing to apply for) the relevant taxi/private hire licence from the local council.
Vehicle Options:

Use your own licensed vehicle - keep more of your earnings. Use a Lorn Taxis vehicle - drive one of our cars on a rental basis. A percentage of your earnings will go towards covering car hire and running costs, meaning less hassle for you.
