We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to support Abacus Maths teaching to students. The ideal candidate will need to possess excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine desire to help students learn calculations.
Pre-requisites
Enhanced DBS within 12 month or registered in update service
Safeguarding training certificate
First aid certificate
Duties
Provide tutoring and mentoring to children promote learning and development
Participate in training to update and become proficient in Abacus methodology
Maintain accurate records of progress and behavioural observations for ongoing assessment
Skills
Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring children
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt to individual needs
Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude towards students of all ages and abilities
Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments
