We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 and KS2 Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and development. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality education for pupils with a wide range of educational difficulties, ranging from moderate, to severe, and complex needs. Some pupils also present with communication, physical, sensory, behavioural, or autistic difficulties requiring additional adult support and specialist intervention
Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the varied learning styles of students.
Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and feedback.
Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behaviour.
Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.
Uphold school policies and procedures while promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.
Requirements
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is essential.
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching are crucial attributes for success in this role.
Experience teaching pupils with physical learning , sensory difficulties, behavioural or autistic difficulties
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Job Type: Full-time - Maternity Cover for up to 12 months
Pay: 31,000.00-38,000.00 per year
