Avanti Fields School is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Design and Technology who is committed to helping pupils achieve strong academic and personal growth.

Avanti Fields School is an all-through, faith-designated (Hindu) state school which welcomed the first intake of Year 7 students in September 2018, and first intake of Nursery and Reception students in September 2022. The school is rapidly expanding and will grow year by year to a full cohort of 1,320. This is an exciting time to join the school as it continues its journey to outstanding.

What will you do?

Deliver high-quality Design and Technology teaching that meets the needs of all learners, ensuring strong progress, well-planned lessons and effective use of assessment. Create a safe, respectful and purposeful learning environment that upholds the ethos of Avanti Schools Trust and promotes excellent behaviour, engagement and relationships. Take responsibility for the planning, preparation and evaluation of lessons, materials and assessments, using data to monitor progress and inform future teaching. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, governors and external partners to support pupils' wellbeing, achievement and broader school life. Engage fully in professional development, contribute to whole-school responsibilities, and uphold safeguarding, statutory requirements and high standards of conduct.
