Paxman Academy opened to Year 7 students in September 2019 and is a co-educational, fully comprehensive 11-16 Academy with a PAN of 180. We are a heavily oversubscribed school which is held in high regard in the community. Our recent Ofsted inspection (Feb 24) rated our school as Good.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Be fully qualified to teach through the secondary range for Key Stages 3 & 4
Demonstrate an enthusiasm for the subject which will inspire student progress
Demonstrate a capacity to design materials that are adapted and will engage students in the learning process
Experience of IT and a willingness to use it to plan and teach lessons

Qualified Teacher Status (Suitable for ECTs)
Ability to teach lessons that challenge all students.
A passion for teaching and making a real difference to young people
Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
