Claydon High School

are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic

Teacher of English

to join the team and teach the subject across the age and ability range.




You will be passionate about their subject, committed to motivating students to reach their full potential and offer enrichment beyond the classroom. Claydon High School provides an excellent support programme for newly appointed staff. There may also be the possibility for additional opportunities including Head of Year and/or setting up Media Studies.


Claydon High School is a popular, oversubscribed and friendly comprehensive school on the outskirts of Ipswich; we are situated close to the A14 with easy transport links across Suffolk and into Essex. We are a small school with 773 students on roll which means that there is a close working relationship with all the staff and students in the school. As part of the Penrose Learning Trust we also work closely with other schools within the MAT to achieve "excellence through collaboration".
