The Food Department at Arthur Mellows Village College is a highly committed, experienced team who enjoy enabling students to be successful. Resources at the College are first class, staff are based in their own specialist Food Technology rooms and deliver KS3 and KS4 (AQA GCSE) courses. The Department has a specialist Food Technician to aid food practical lessons and in the planning of theory lessons. The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, able to work together with other Department staff and bring with them new exciting ideas for further development of the subject.


At Arthur Mellows Village College:


Behaviour is excellent and students are keen to learn. Food Technology is enjoyed by students and its importance is recognised. Staff are friendly and supportive. Staff are provided with a laptop. New members of staff receive a dedicated programme of support. The school has recently been redeveloped providing a pleasant working environment. Onsite car parking is free.

We are situated in a village location on the edge of Peterborough, with good transport links to London, the A1 and Stamford.
