What does the role involve?

The History team is very strong and delivers very high standards at both GCSE and A Level. The History curriculum provides a rich and broad investigation into some of the most significant aspects of British and global History, paying particular attention to the developments that have shaped the communities in which our students live. The main aim of this role is to effectively deliver our curriculum, incorporating the latest historical ideas into teaching and presenting them to students so that they can form, and articulate, their own judgements. We emphasise the importance of literacy and vocabulary and support students in making progress in these key areas.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of History to join our team of highly motivated professionals who are working collaboratively to raise standards and expectations at all levels throughout the History Department.
