About the role
As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 to 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5. You'll inspire students to reach their full potential through varied teaching strategies, supportive guidance, and clear academic targets. With a focus on student progress, you'll use data to plan effectively and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment. Beyond the classroom, you'll support the wider school community--working collaboratively with colleagues, engaging with parents, and participating in events that enrich the student experience.
This is a part-time 0.4 FTE,
fixed term contract for 1 year acting as Maternity Cover.

You are an enthusiastic and reflective teacher with Qualified Teacher Status, strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics. You bring energy, empathy, and a belief that every student can succeed. With excellent communication skills and a commitment to high standards, you will motivate learners of all abilities. You are confident using technology to enhance learning and are proactive in developing your teaching practice. You work well in a team, value collaboration, and are willing to contribute to school life beyond the curriculum. Above all, you are dedicated to creating a safe, positive, and aspirational environment where students thrive--both academically and personally.
