About the role
As a Teacher of MFL, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging language lessons across the full age and ability range within the Senior School, with the potential for some Prep teaching. You will plan and deliver creative, rigorous lessons aligned with departmental schemes of learning, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure strong academic outcomes. Your role will include monitoring pupil progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining high standards of discipline and motivation. You'll actively contribute to the school's wider life, including extra-curricular activities and pastoral care, and play a key part in promoting a love of languages and cultural understanding.
This is a part-time 0.8 FTE role with a proposed start date in November 2025.

You are an enthusiastic and committed teacher with a passion for languages and a drive to inspire learners. With QTS and a relevant degree, you bring strong classroom skills, creativity, and the ability to engage and challenge pupils of all abilities. You work well both independently and as part of a team, and you're motivated to contribute to ongoing school improvement. You are confident using data to inform teaching, and committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing. Your energy, professionalism, and ability to build positive relationships make you a valued colleague and role model for pupils.
