Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our teaching team as a Physical Education teacher and form tutor from January 2026. This post is for two terms prior to the appointment of a Subject Lead for September 2026.


Actual Salary: 31,916 - 51,048 per annum covering M1 - UP3




Start date: 1st January 2026





The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside our Senior Leadership team and an experienced and dedicated teacher of Physical Education to ensure that our children experience high quality physical education lessons and outstanding extra-curricular opportunities.



You should be an outstanding practitioner, with an excellent knowledge and understanding of the Physical Education curriculum. The successful candidate will be required to take the role of form tutor in year 7 carrying out all associated duties with care, dedication and expertise.



Our school was recently graded Outstanding for behaviour and attitudes and personal development (Ofsted Jan 2025) and this post provides an excellent opportunity to grow alongside our staff team and to contribute to the wider life of our school.



You will ensure that all of our children participate fully, developing a love of sport and an understanding of the importance of healthy lifestyles whilst supporting our reputation for developing sporting excellence. As part of our team you will have clear opportunities to work in partnership with school leaders and Trust colleagues to plan, influence and lead our shared Physical Education curriculum.

Keeping Children Safe in Education



The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates.
