Job Description

Teacher of Physical Education (PE)
Location: Malton, North Yorkshire
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: 130 - 170 per day
GSL Education are looking to appoint ambitious, energetic, and passionate Teacher of Physical Education to work at a Client Secondary School located in Malton, North Yorkshire.
PE Teacher Requirements:

A recognised UK teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent, with a specialism in Physical Education.
A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field is preferred.
Experience teaching Physical Education at secondary level.
Strong understanding of physical education curriculum requirements, sports coaching techniques, and fitness principles.
Experience working in SEN settings or with students who have additional needs is desirable.
Hold a Child only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.

PE Teacher Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging PE lessons across KS3 to KS5.
Plan, assess and report on pupils' progress.
Contribute to the planning and development of the PE curriculum.
Maintaining a safe environment during physical activities.
Promote a positive and inclusive culture of health, wellbeing, and sport throughout the school.
Participate in extracurricular sport and physical activity.
