The Head Teacher and Governors of Parkhead Community Primary are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated teacher to join our friendly, happy and inspirational school. The post will commence 5th January 2026 for a temporary period of two terms. At Parkhead we believe that every child should be valued, cared for and enabled to achieve their highest goals.


Parkhead is a community school situated in the heart of Winlaton, Blaydon. In 2021, the school underwent an exciting rebranding process whereby all stakeholders contributed to the design of our brand image, school motto, and vision and values statement. You must have high expectations of yourself and of our children and be highly motivated to providing the very best opportunities and experiences for the children of our school.
