The Teacher will work closely with children in various age groups, including preschool and toddlers, and will utilise effective behaviour management strategies to promote a conducive learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and fosters a love for learning.
Utilise behaviour management techniques to maintain order and support positive interactions among students.
Provide individualised support for children with special educational needs, including those requiring speech therapy or applied behaviour analysis.
Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Engage in regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student development and behaviour.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Collaborate with other educators and specialists to create a holistic approach to child development.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
Familiarity with early childhood education principles, including preschool and toddler care, is highly desirable.
Experience in tutoring or providing additional support in academic subjects is advantageous.
Knowledge of special education practices and behaviour management strategies is preferred.
Strong proofreading skills are beneficial for preparing educational materials and documentation.
