UCL Mathematical and Physical Sciences employs nearly 700 members of academic and technical staff and 128 professional services staff. The Natural Sciences BSc and MSci degrees at UCL enable students who wish to maintain a breadth of science subjects to design a unique degree which is suited to their personal interests. The programmes have been designed to offer students the flexibility to combine science subjects into a structured and coherent programme.



The Natural Sciences programmes are flexible degrees drawing together elements of physics / astrophysics, mathematics, chemistry, earth sciences, life sciences, maths / statistics and science and technology studies.


About the role


------------------


The Teaching and Learning Administrator will provide administration to the Natural Sciences Undergraduate Programmes. The role will support all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of students from enquiry to completion. Responsibilities include maintenance of student and course records, assistance with recruitment initiatives, timetable support, and support for various committees.



The role holder must be efficient, organised and take great care in attention to detail. In addition, the role requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL, so a professional attitude, willingness to help and a positive outlook are required in order to adequately execute the duties.


Please note this is a fixed-term role for 3 years.




About you


-------------


The post holder will have experience of administrative work in a busy office environment as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They have will have the ability to prioritise and organise their own workload to meet time-critical schedules whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy. The role holder will be able to work independently as well as apart of a team and have the ability to work confidentially.
