CAHSS / School of Divinity



Full-time: 35 hours per week



Fixed term: 1 year



The School of Divinity is currently seeking to appoint a pro-active and efficient member of the Teaching and Student Services Team, working to support all activities relating to student support, administration, events and postgraduate admissions within the School.


You will play a key role in student support; answering and escalating student enquiries as circumstances require. You will be active in supporting Student Advisers with processes including course enrolment, engagement monitoring, referrals to other University support services, and other matters related to student support.


You will provide support for teaching administration, including acting as programme administrator for the Philosophy, Science and Religion MSc (online) and supporting PG admissions processes.


This post is full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term for 1 year. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.


The salary for this post is

29,588 to 33,951

per annum.



Your skills and attributes for success:



Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication. Proven ability to create a supportive environment when dealing with distressed students or sensitive situations. Proven ability to handle sensitive and personal information with tact and confidentiality. Organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure Excellent administrative skills, including knowledge of Microsoft software packages (Word, Excel)
