We are seeking to appoint committed and skilled candidates who can demonstrate successful experience in one or more of the following areas:
Experience within an EYFS, Nursery, or Pre?school setting
Experience supporting children with SEMH needs, ideally within a resource provision or special school
Supporting pupils with high levels of SEND
Supporting pupils who are new to English, including early language acquisition
Delivering small?group interventions
Working collaboratively with external professionals, such as Outreach Services
A strong understanding of phonics
Knowledge of an additional language (highly welcomed)
Essential requirements for this post:
NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Previous experience in a primary school setting, supporting learners both in and beyond the classroom
High?quality oral and written communication skills in English
The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
Bevois Town Primary School is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
