Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support educators and students within an educational setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with classroom activities, providing personalised support to pupils, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities



Support teachers in delivering lesson plans and classroom activities Assist pupils with their learning tasks, ensuring they understand instructions and stay engaged Provide personalised support to students with special educational needs or disabilities, including those with autism Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation and confidence among pupils Help manage behavioural issues in a calm and constructive manner Mentor and tutor students who require additional academic assistance Support the organisation of learning materials and classroom resources Observe and report on student progress and behaviour to teachers or specialised staff

Skills



Experience with children, particularly in educational or tutoring roles Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pupils, teachers, and parents Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Organised approach Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team within an educational environment
