As part of the Primary Quest Multi-Academy Trust, we are looking for a dedicated teaching assistant to join our friendly team at Gretton Primary School to support key stage 2 children in the morning and to carry out interventions in the afternoon. The mornings are for every day and the afternoons for 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can support children with a range of needs, and work as part of the team supporting the planning and delivery of learning opportunities that meet the needs of children with EHCPs. Additionally, you will work as a Breakfast Club Leader for 3 mornings a week (Monday to Wednesday) and a Mid Day Supervisor each lunchtime.

Applicants should have:

A nurturing, calm and positive approach to working with children

An ability to motivate and inspire children

A passion for helping children achieve their very best

be able to conduct and support learning in 1:1 and small group learning situations

communicate assessments and evaluations of learning to the class teacher and SENDCo

An ability to build and maintain good relationships with children, parents and staff

ideally have experience of SEN

ideally have experience of working in EYFS and KS1 or KS2
