Teaching Assistant - Chippenham & Rowde

Glow Educate are working with a brilliant special needs school in

Chippenham

and we're looking for flexible, caring Teaching Assistants who are ready to make a difference from day one.

You'll be part of a team that supports pupils with a wide range of additional needs - including

autism (ASC), communication and interaction needs, sensory processing differences, physical disabilities and complex medical conditions

. Some pupils also require

personal care

, so you'll need to be comfortable helping with this as part of the role.

No two days are the same. You might be in Early Years one day, helping with sensory play, and supporting a teenager's independence the next. What's consistent is the impact you'll have: calm presence, kind words, steady encouragement.

Many of these placements begin on a short-term basis but often turn into

long-term or permanent roles

. It's the kind of environment where people find their place and stay.

We're looking for:

Experience or genuine interest in working with children or young people with additional needs Patience, resilience and a positive, team-focused attitude Flexibility to work across different age groups and classes Willingness to support with personal care when needed
