The Headteacher and Governors of Bolshaw Primary School are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic
Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor
to join our hardworking and dedicated team of staff. They would work under the direction of
our SLT
, providing high quality support to all pupils enabling them to access learning and achieve their full potential. Our children are keen learners and we aim to offer them the best in everything we do.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead intervention groups and support children both within the classroom and in a 1:1 situation. They will also be expected to cover classes on occasions.

Hardworking - committed to our main aim of supporting children's learning
A team player - work together with teachers and other staff members promoting our school ethos, values and vision.
Professional, reliable and have excellent interpersonal skills
Confident and experienced - be able to cover classes when required and have a proven track record of working with children across the primary age range.
Adaptable and be able to use their initiative and have excellent classroom management skills
Academically able and competent to work at a high level within Maths and English
Has experience of working with children who have additional needs
