Role:

Teaching Assistant (2 roles)

Grade and Salary:

Grade 2: 21,567 - 22,610 actual salary per annum (25,185 - 26,403 FTE) - 37 hours. Grade 2: 15,155 - 15,888 actual salary per annum (25,185 - 26,403 FTE) - 26 hours.

Working pattern:

37 hours per week / 39 working weeks or 26 hours per week / 39 working weeks

The role:



An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time and part time Teaching Assistant to join a committed team at Allestree Woodlands School. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, hard-working and are passionate about supporting young people achieve their best. The successful candidates will work in partnership with teachers to support learning in line with the national curriculum, codes of practice, policies and procedures.

The person:



Patience will be key to this role as you will be supporting students in a specific curriculum area or support students with varying degrees of learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory or physical difficulties. You will play an integral part in ensuring students with any degree of SEND meet targets and progress in line with students not on the SEND register.
