Winchester House School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learning in our Early Years and Key Stage 1 department. You'll work closely with experienced educators to help children grow, explore, and thrive--both academically and personally.


You will need to have a level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education.


This role is full time but we would consider a part time job share.

Key Responsibilities:



Support pupils' development across cognitive, emotional, and physical domains. Work with individuals or small groups, inside and outside the classroom. Assist with practical tasks, prepare learning materials, and maintain classroom displays. Contribute to outings, events, and school life--making learning rich and fun. Support inclusion and provide targeted support, including for children with SEN.

What We're Looking For:



Essential Criteria:



Level3 diploma in Childcare and Education GCSEs (Grade 9-4 / A-C) in English and Maths.
Experience working with children in an educational setting. Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills. Enthusiasm, empathy, and a commitment to safeguarding.

Winchester House School




was founded in 1875 and moved to its present 18-acre site in the centre of Brackley in 1922. The heart of the School is situated in Manor House, an attractive building dating from the early 1800s.
