From 2 September 2025, a teaching assistant is required to support a child with an Education Health Care Plan in Year 2.
Experience of working with pupils with Speech and Language needs is desirable.
The ideal candidate would:
Have experience of supporting a pupil with an Education and Health Care Plan.
Have experience of supporting a pupil with Developmental Language Disorder.
Establish positive relationships with children.
Be adaptable and responsive to children's needs.
Be an effective communicator.
Have experience of helping pupils form positive relationships and promote the inclusion of the pupil.
Experience of the Key Stage 1 Curriculum.
The ability to adapt activities.
Be dedicated to all children achieving the best they can.
Have the ability to work well in a team.
Have resilience and energy.
The post will be paid from EHCP funding and will cease either when the funding ends or the child leaves the school.
This post is for 22 hours per week.
This will likely involve working every morning with some afternoon commitment. This will be decided at interview.
