We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team as a Teaching Assistant within the English Faculty.



Working as a Teaching Assistant is a rewarding and crucial position in the education field. Teaching Assistants play a vital role in supporting students with a range of learning needs, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to thrive in and out of the classroom. TA's are instrumental in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.

We are looking for candidates that are passionate about education and eager to support students in their academic journey working in either small groups or on a 1:1 basis. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment. Additionally, they should be patient, empathetic, and adaptable, ready to address the diverse needs of students and contribute to their overall growth and success. Salary and Hours



Salary: 18,408 - 20,722 actual annual salary

Hours: 30hrs per week - Term-time only - 8:50am- 3:10pm (4:00pm Wednesday)

(Part time may be considered for the right candidate)

Selly Oak pay scale - Band B, Points 9 -18

This is a fixed term contract until 31st December 2026
