We are looking to appoint a motivated and inspirational teaching assistant to join us in the Autumn term 2025. This position is being advertised as a temporary contract for a year, but there is the possibility of this being made a permanent contract, depending on business need.

What You Need to Succeed
We are looking for a teaching assistant to join our lovely team who:
will uphold and nurture the values of our Catholic community
understands the importance of safeguarding children and will prioritise this at all times
has initiative and drive and some knowledge and understanding of SEND
has the willingness to undertake training to ensure that they are fully meeting the needs of the children
is a professional with the highest expectations of all aspects of school life
has passes in GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above, or who has the willingness to study for and achieve these qualifications
is enthusiastic and innovative
has good interpersonal and communication skills
is nurturing and caring and will have high expectations of all pupils
Experience in working with children needing speech and language support would be an advantage, as would experience in working with children with ASD. The capacity to be a member of bank staff for our before and after-school club would also be beneficial, but is not an essential requirement.
