SCP 5 - 6: 9,753 - 9,908 per annum (24,790 - 25,183 pro rata)

17 hours per week, Term Time plus 5 DAYS (39 weeks)

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic team of professionals.
You will perform a key role in supporting children's learning in all its aspects. You will be required to work with targeted groups and or classes and must have a good understanding of the principles of child development and learning processes.

The successful candidate will:
Hold a relevant Level 3 Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification (or willingness to work towards).
Minimum requirements are grade 4 (C) in Maths and English at GCSE.
Be experienced in working with children.
Confidently support colleagues during the wraparound care sessions.
Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of physical and personal development and well-being are achieved.
Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
Have some knowledge of different programmes or activities that could be used with a range of ages simultaneously.
Have the ethos and philosophy to build good relationships with children and parents.
Support daily routines in a stimulating and creative setting and help to provide rich experiences for our children.
Have a commitment to safeguarding and well-being of children.
Be able to use ICT to support learning.
