Part-Time Teaching Assistant (EYFS - within our nursery setting)

Fixed Term until 21st July Start Date: Tuesday 6th January

13 hours per week (Mondays & Tuesdays, 8.30am - 3.30pm)


Actual Salary 7,566 - 7,686 per annum (Grade 5, SCP 5-6)


This job is Term Time Only for 13 hours per week and 38 weeks per year.



The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements.



The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.



Hazelbury Bryan Primary School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and committed team, working within our Early Years Foundation Stage. This is a fixed-term role until 21st July, with the potential for extension depending on the needs of the school.



We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young children, able to work well as part of a team, and committed to helping us create a nurturing, stimulating learning environment.



About the Role:


13 hours per week across Mondays and Tuesday working within our Preschool settings.



Fixed term until 21st July, with possible extension. Start Date: Tuesday 6th January

Keeping Children Safe in Education



Our school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
