We are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs across the school. Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, including autism, speech and language needs, and social-emotional challenges
Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement personalised learning plans
Use communication tools such as Makaton, PECS, or BSL (training available)
Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with staff and families to ensure consistent, high-quality support

Requirements
Experience working with children with SEND (school-based or equivalent)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and creativity in your approach
A commitment to inclusive education and child wellbeing
Knowledge of communication systems (desirable but not essential)
