The Role:



We are seeking a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant (Level 1) to provide 1:1 support for a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support the child's individual needs, helping them access learning and thrive within our school community.

Key Responsibilities:



Support the learning and development of a child with additional needs as outlined in their EHCP Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals Assist with implementing strategies and interventions to support the child's educational, social, and emotional progress Monitor and record progress, contributing to reviews and meetings as required Promote inclusion and encourage positive engagement with peers and learning

Has experience or enthusiasm for working with children with SEND Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a calm approach Can work well as part of a team Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Is reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic
