About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated individual to join our supportive team in the Specialist Resource Centre, Canolfan y Don. This role involves working closely with pupils who have complex needs, including profound learning, communication and behavioural difficulties.



Part-time (Monday and Friday)



Main Responsibilities:


Support pupils in their daily learning, in line with individual plans. Work closely with the class teacher and the multi-disciplinary team. Promote independence, wellbeing, and social integration for pupils. Assist with personal care where required. Maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.

Essential Skills and Experience:


Experience working with children with additional needs (desirable). Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to work as part of a team and respond flexibly to changing needs.

Desirable:


Level 2 qualification in Learning Support or equivalent (or willingness to work towards one).
