Are you a dedicated and experienced educator passionate about making a difference in the lives of Children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? At Co-op Academy Swinton, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team, where you'll play a pivotal role in our SEN provision.




As a Specialist Level 2 Teaching Assistant within our Enhanced Pathway Provision, you will deliver bespoke, specialist education tailored to meet the evolving needs of SEN pupils, including those with complex requirements. We are looking for three Level 2 Teaching Assistants. You will develop and implement personalised learning to support each pupil's unique needs and abilities. You will use innovative teaching methods and resources to engage and inspire young learners. You will collaborate with external agencies and our wider inclusion team to ensure holistic support for pupil's development and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and growth.


This is a fixed term contract for 12 months and is part time of 2 days a week




We are looking for candidates who:


Are an

excellent

practitioner. A specialism or additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable. Are

confident

in the classroom and understand how children with SEND, learn. Have

high expectations

of what can be achieved. Seek to build

positive

relationships with children. Have an understanding of the 'bigger picture'. Are able to work to their own

initiative

as well as part of a team. Are confident and

excited

about using and embracing IT and outdoor learning in their practice. Are flexible,

hardworking

and have a passion to make a difference in the lives of our young learners. A genuine

passion

for inclusive education and a commitment to making a difference.
