Job Description

A highly dedicated, hard-working, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Level 2) is required to join our staff team at Ravensworth Terrace, for 1 year, in the first instance.



The successful applicant will become part of a school which drives for continuous improvements in the quality of provision for the children of our community.



Governors invite applications from individuals (holding at least an NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or an equivalent qualification and at least a GCSE Grade C or equivalent in both English and mathematics) who:


are able to work within a team in a respectful and collaborative manner are positive, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting all children to progress have demonstrated consistent effective practice as a Teaching Assistant and are able to nurture children personally as well as academically have high expectations of children but understand the need to for appropriate support in order for success are excellent role models for children through their professional behaviour and conduct demonstrate that they can meet the challenges of the varied role are dedicated to the care and safeguarding of children have worked with children with SEND to support their access of the curriculum have first-aid training or are willing to undertake first-aid training


The successful candidate should have the skills and qualities to support children across the primary age-range.

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year, they are subject to an equated salary adjustment.
