Teaching Assistants Level 2 Grade 3


Mab's Cross Primary School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work mainly in Year One. This will be working with the class teacher and providing support for children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.

The position is for 31 hours and 15 minutes per week, working 8.30am 3.45pm. Initially this is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2026.

The successful candidate will:

Be able to follow teachers plans and to give accurate feedback regarding pupils Be adaptable and able to use their initiative. Have experience in working with children with special educational needs, in particular neuro-diverse needs. Be able to provide stimulating activities. Be keen to make a difference to the school experience of children. Be enthusiastic and creative. Be willing to play a full part in the life of the school.
