Ditcham Park School are seeking to recruit an exceptional KS2 Teaching Assistant, position is a 1-year fixed term contract to start in September 2025 08:00 - 4:00 Monday to Friday.
Key purpose of role
The Teaching Assistant role is to support the Class Teacher and Head of Juniors in all aspects of schoolwork ensuring that statutory requirements are met. Supporting children with EHCP requirements and to work with the SEN team. To enable the child to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them and to provide a high standard of care as required and in accordance with the child's individual needs. Ideally, has experience KS1 and EYFS would be desirable.
Fostering the participation of pupils in the social and academic practices of the school
Enabling pupils to become more independent learners
Helping to raise standards of achievement for class pupils
Support the Learning Support Department with access arrangements
The ability to work as a member of a dedicated, hard-working TA team
