Grade E, 23,351 - 24,944 (depending on length of service)

Full Time - 37 hrs term time only

The Headteacher and Governors of Portobello Primary School are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate.


A thorough understanding of learning in the Early Years Excellent classroom practice, with high expectations and evidence of improving standards Excellent behaviour management skills, with an understanding of individual needs and the ability to develop relationships based on respect Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive outlook and growth mindset value base The ability and drive to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team and by their own initiative An understanding of a range of special educational needs and recent experience in supporting learning A commitment to the wider development of the school and community

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year, they are subject to an equated salary adjustment.
