Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education to students, particularly those with special needs. This role is vital in fostering an inclusive learning environment, helping students achieve their academic and personal goals. The Teaching Assistant will work closely with individuals with disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum, ensuring they receive the necessary support and encouragement.

Responsibilities



Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities. Provide one-on-one support to students, particularly those with special educational needs. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation from all students. Help manage classroom behaviour by implementing strategies to promote positive interactions. Support students with personal care needs as required. Assist in preparing educational materials and resources for lessons. Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to education.

Experience



Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Experience in tutoring or mentoring roles that demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students. Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and strategies for supporting individuals on the spectrum is beneficial. A background in teaching or related fields will be considered an asset, along with a passion for fostering learning in diverse environments. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-15.00 per day
