Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant

Support teachers in delivering lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Provide one-to-one and small group support, including with pupils who have

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

. Assist with behaviour management and encourage a positive learning environment. Support literacy, numeracy, and creative learning activities. Help with classroom resources, school trips, and extracurricular activities.
What We're Looking For

Experience:

Previous Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or classroom support experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications:

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications are an advantage but not required.

Skills:

Excellent communication, patience, adaptability, and teamwork.

Attributes:

Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to supporting children's education.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with the primary curriculum or SEN support is beneficial.
