A vibrant, community-focused primary school in the heart of Harrow is seeking

five full-time Teaching Assistants

to join its dedicated and inclusive team from September 2025. The school is known for its nurturing approach, strong collaborative ethos, and commitment to helping every child achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

Roles are available in

Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3

, offering opportunities to contribute to engaging and supportive classrooms across Key Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities

Classroom Support:

Assist teachers with the delivery of daily lessons, ensuring a calm, purposeful, and positive learning environment.

Group Interventions:

Lead or support small group and 1:1 sessions in areas such as phonics, reading, maths catch-up, and speech & language development.

Behaviour & Engagement:

Help maintain clear routines and expectations, using positive reinforcement to support pupil engagement.

Monitoring & Feedback:

Record observations on pupil progress and provide regular feedback to the class teacher.

Resource Preparation:

Support with the creation of displays and preparation of lesson materials.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs and other staff to plan, review and deliver high-quality support.

What We're Looking For

Prior experience working in a primary school setting (Key Stage 1 or 2). A proactive, nurturing and dependable approach to supporting pupils. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Confidence managing pupil behaviour and promoting positive learning habits. Commitment to inclusive education and high standards for all learners.
