The Role
We are urgently recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a permanent position within Vara Sports And Education. This role will be based long term in one of our partner primary schools in Ellesmere Port. This is a stable, permanent role within the company and
not a supply
or day to day position.
You will support the Reception team with learning, wellbeing and classroom routines. The ideal candidate will have a warm manner, be proactive, flexible and able to build positive relationships with children, parents and staff.

Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
Key Responsibilities
Support for pupils
Build positive, supportive relationships
Assist with personal care, emotional needs and general welfare
Deliver small group activities and individual support
Help children access the curriculum before, during and after lessons
Support social and emotional development
Observe and report progress or concerns to the teacher
Support for teaching staff
Prepare resources and classroom areas
Assist with simple administrative tasks
Support in managing behaviour following school policy
Work effectively within the EYFS team
Support for curriculum and school environment
Help children understand instructions for activities
Maintain resources and learning environments
Support with trips and outdoor learning
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection policies
