About the role



As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you'll help create a warm, safe, and engaging learning environment for our youngest children. Working closely with Class Teachers and Nursery staff, you'll contribute to planning and delivering fun, purposeful activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. From supporting learning through play to offering emotional and physical care, you'll play a vital role in helping every child feel secure, valued, and ready to grow. You'll also build strong relationships with parents and colleagues, maintaining a cheerful, inclusive, and professional approach at all times.



This is a permanent, full-time role.





Who we are looking for



You're caring, practical, and passionate about early childhood education. With experience in an Early Years setting and a relevant qualification (ideally Level 2 or 3), you bring creativity, patience, and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed. You communicate well with both children and adults, maintain high standards for safety and care, and enjoy being part of a busy, happy team. You're flexible, reliable, and ready to support children of different ages, including occasionally in the wider school. Most importantly, you love working with young children and you understand the powerful role you play in shaping their first learning experiences.
