Teaching Assistant

Fixed term, in the first instance, until 31 August 2026

30 hours per week available, term time only (44.6 total paid weeks)

24,219 per annum per annum

(NB this salary will be proportionately reduced to reflect part/term time only working)

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to take a pro-active role in the support of the educational, social and physical needs of our students. The successful candidate will support the curriculum and the school through the provision of assistance to the classroom teacher in the practical organisation of class activities and small group work.

Applicants will need:

the ability to work with young people

excellent communication skills

self-motivation and a friendly manner

a high standard of computer literacy and excellent organisational skills

to be passionate about promoting learning and achievement for all

the ability to work effectively as part of a team

English and Maths GCSE grade C/4/NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
