Job Description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary school based in Congleton who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support small groups of students who require additional support with learning. The school is OFSTED rated 'Good' and staff strive to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all.
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who is considering a career in teaching, or an established Teaching Assistant who is looking for a new role.
About the role:

• Start- date: 1st September
• Long-term/ongoing with opportunity for permanent contract
• Opportunity to earn 90-100 per day (dependent on experience)

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Class Teacher to identify learning gaps and create and implement individualised learning plans. This may include 1-1 or small group intervention for core subjects. You will also supervise behaviour within the class and assist the teacher when behaviour policies need to be followed.
What we're looking for:

• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience within a school is necessary
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of current behaviour management techniques
• Passionate, caring and empathetic approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
