Job Overview:
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support students with their learning journey and support teaching staff with the delivery of the curriculum. Candidates will need to be confident, committed and well-motivated, with high expectations and the ability to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential.
We are seeking individuals who:
oAre committed to a 'child centered ethos' and inclusion for all.
oHave experience of supporting in class and delivering learning activities to pupils (assessing progress and providing accurate feedback to the teacher)
oHave high expectations of all children for learning and behaviour and a positive approach to behaviour management.

Duties:
- Under the direction and supervision of a teacher or line manager (e.g. Higher-Level Teaching Assistant), to support pupil's learning, to attend to pupils' personal needs and to provide general support in managing pupils and the classroom.
- To uphold and promote the Academy's child protection and safeguarding policies and procedures and ensure they are adhered to by all staff.
- To promote the safety and wellbeing of students.
Experience:
- The ability to relate well with children and adults.
- Level 2 Numeracy/ Literacy or willingness to work towards.
- The ability to work as a member of a team.
- Good communication skills to engage with pupils, teachers, and parents.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: 7,128.74 per year
